Disaster Relief Mission

On 03.08.2014 the town of Mizia was hit by a disastrous flood that affected most of its 3000 inhabitants. Large part of Mizia remained under water for several days, the depth reaching up to 4 m. Being a small town in a rural area in Northwest Bulgaria, Mizia's economy is relying mostly on small range family farming. FOUR PAWS organised a rapid response mission to help the animals that survived the floods.
